The Seattle office of K&L Gates has an immediate need for an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will assist our e-DAT group, ensuring the group functions efficiently and to provide unique and dedicated support e-DAT Project-Based and Staff Lawyers, Practice Administrators, and other e-DAT staff. Essential Duties: Providing administrative support for the e-DAT group, including staff and lawyers Performs complex time entry in Elite for all e-DAT special assignment timekeepers (40+) in both Seattle and Pittsburgh on a daily basis Schedule and coordinates meetings including partner/lawyer meetings, educational meetings, client meetings, orientations, training sessions, group related events or activities, etc. Maintains a variety of tracking spreadsheets and data using Excel Makes travel arrangements and submits expense reimbursement reports Proofs documents Distributes and screens correspondence Answers telephones and directs appropriately Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is required Previous administrative or similar experience working in a law firm environment is required Positive, upbeat personality and a 'can-do' attitude High level of professionalism Excellent organizational skills Extremely detail oriented/strong attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to providing the highest quality client service Ability to organize, prioritize, re-prioritize, and complete numerous tasks in a deadline-intensive environment Flexible approach to the work environment and experience working in a fast paced environment with unscheduled interruptions Strong computer skills and high proficiency with Microsoft Office Maintain confidential information and carry out responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner Responsibilities may require adjusted work schedules, overtime and evening or weekend hours on occasion ABOUT THE FIRM K&L Gates is a fully integrated global law firm with approximately 2,000 lawyers across five continents.
