K&L Gates seeks an Attorney Specialist to join the Asset Management and Investment Funds practice group. This is a permanent Attorney Specialist position with set hours for candidates interested in non-partnership track opportunities. This position can be located in any of our US offices or remotely if preferred. The Attorney Specialist will support our attorneys with the formation and operation of private investment funds, negotiation of side letters on behalf of sponsors and investors, and the marketing of fund interests and separate accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience representing private fund sponsors and investors on a diverse array of fund formation matters and/or have experience reviewing and advising on the marketing and offering of investment products under FINRA and SEC rules. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.
