K&L Gates is currently accepting applications for our 2021 1L diversity summer associate position in Seattle, WA.

K&L Gates established the 1L Diversity Fellowship program 17 years ago as part of our commitment to the development of legal communities that reflect the diversity of our communities. This program provides the fellowship recipient with a paid 1L summer associate position, plus a $10,000 academic scholarship.

Candidates must have a strong interest in the office's practice areas and be a self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, candidates must have superior academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as a commitment to providing the highest quality client service. Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring.
