As the Firm’s Principle Intelligence Analyst, you will serve as K&L Gates’ senior intelligence officer and be responsible for maintaining the firm’s situational awareness in relation to both physical and cyber security threats across the globe. In this role, you will oversee the entirety of the intelligence lifecycle, create innovative collection plans, assess the effectiveness of the program, keep senior leadership informed of risks, and develop relationships with peer law firms and community partners. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service are strongly preferred.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Director of Security (Local)
Various Members of the Cyber Intelligence Community (INFRAGARD, NCFTA, LS-ISAO, etc)
• Devise collection plans to meet the security program’s intelligence requirements
• Generate intelligence products to inform the firm’s defensive practices
• Analyse raw and finished products for dissemination within the firm
• Assess vendors and other sources for reliability and veracity
• Expand the firm’s partnerships with peers, clients and community partners.
• Effectively communicate findings across all levels of the organization
• Develop metrics to trend the firm’s security operations
• Expert level knowledge of intelligence analysis and practices, 7 years combined experience.
• Strong background in cyber security and technology
• Experience with physical security operations
• Formal intelligence training or demonstrated field experience
• Military or Intelligence Community experience required
• Experience in private sector cyber intelligence operations preferred
• Communicate effectively and develop lasting partnerships
• Perform well on stress or for prolonged hours during periods of heightened risk
