The IT Program Manager is responsible for leading large, enterprise-wide programs that deliver efficient, effective and innovative solutions across the firm. The primary responsibility of the IT Program Manager is to develop and execute program strategies to drive business and technical objectives. The IT Program Manager leads the definition and management of program components, or projects, and builds plans to achieve program goals by managing projects directly or overseeing the work of the project managers assigned to lead various program components. Compensation $97,000 - $182,000 The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Position requires key relationships with: Chiefs, Senior Administrators, IT Leadership team, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Business Sponsors, Functional Subject Matter Experts and IT Department personnel.
Position requires management of outside vendors and consultants to help support firm initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Define and implement initiatives, projects, and programs that align with business objectives, strategies, and goals.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
• Collaborate with Change Management Team to develop plans that will support a successful outcome.
• Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program vision and goals are being reached.
• Coordinate and oversee resources assigned to projects within each program to ensure all are effectively working toward program goals through proper planning, monitoring, and execution.
• Identify, evaluate, escalate, and suggest possible solutions for cross-project and program issues and risks.
• Prepare and deliver communications and program updates to stakeholders, management, and executive leadership.
• Align deliverables with program and project outcomes.
• Liaise with IT Leadership and Senior Administrators to increase awareness and program visibility.
• Collaborate with IT Leadership, Portfolio Management, and the PMO Manager on project prioritization, proper resource allocation, and identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects.
• Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budgets, reporting, and timing for new initiatives.
• Identify and manage key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Work closely with project sponsors to create business justifications for the program.
• Ability to mediate conflicts through to a positive outcome.
• Effectively manage outside resources such as technology vendors, contractors, consultants to drive project outcomes.

• Experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools (e.g. MS Project, Eclipse, or ServiceNow).
• Proficiency with Microsoft operating system, Office applications, SharePoint, and other common information systems.
• Working knowledge of change management principles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, IT, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years in project management/ 5+ years in an advanced management role.
• 10 years of professional experience in a project management, program management or related role.
• Proven ability and demonstrated success leading large, complex projects in a technical environment.
• Experience leading IT, technical or systems-related projects preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification is a bonus.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification is a bonus.
• Previous law firm experience is a bonus.
ADDITIONAL ABILITIES REQUIRED
• Responsibilities may occasionally require an adjusted work schedule, overtime, and evening/ weekend hours in order to meet deadlines.
• Carrying a mobile device to accept calls and monitor email during non-work hours.
• Occasional travel may be required. Travel is less than 10% of schedule.
