We are seeking a Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator [can be based in Boston, Pittsburgh, NY, DC, or LA]

This position supports the Firmwide Director of Diversity in executing D&I strategy and goals.  The Coordinator will work directly with the Director to execute projects ranging from responding to client requests, understanding and manipulating data, managing the D&I dashboard, drafting D&I content for internal and external use, working directly with external organizations and scheduling, managing, and attending Diversity and WIP meetings.

Provides specialized support to the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) and Human Resources functions. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
• Managing the data from and drafting responses to diversity-related legal industry benchmarking and client surveys.
• Assisting the D&I Director in communication of departmental activities.
• Supporting the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
• Organizing and coordinating diversity activities – across the firm
• Assisting with the creation diversity-related collateral -
• Coordinating and assisting with various firm and/or departmental projects and initiatives as assigned.

Additional duties:
• Support general HR, recruitment, onboarding and development activities as needed
• Input, update and maintain HRIS data as needed
• Participate and actively contribute to HR projects and other support duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically advanced Excel expertise, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Two or more years of human resources, data management and/or D&I management experience are required, within a law firm a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments, use judgment and initiative to accomplish results, work under pressure, and complete job assignments in an accurate and timely manner.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with exemplary attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience working across departments or offices recommended.
• Excellent teamwork and client service skills and an ability to interact effectively with all levels.
• Ability to be discreet, maintain complete confidentiality and utilize prudent judgment demonstrating integrity and sensitivity.
• Ability to carefully follow instructions provided orally or in writing; adhere to documented processes and protocols for routine job tasks.
• Focuses on continuous improvement and demonstrates an innovative approach.
• HR database experience preferred.

Working Conditions:
• Manual dexterity required for typing, reaching and lifting of small objects, and operating office equipment.
• Frequent computer and telephone use at workstation up to eight hours at a time.
• Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
• Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.
