As a member of K&L Gates Information Technology Department, the Team Lead Enterprise Applications must possess strong relationship building, leadership, collaboration and communication skills. The Team Lead role is responsible for managing people and projects that drive the Firm’s business. Successful candidates will possess the desire to lead a team of technical resources, engineers, workflow or software developers to produce IT solutions for the firm. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service are strongly preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Lead by example by promoting and creating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and diversity to foster teamwork to create amazing products and solutions for the Firm. 5+ years’ experience with Application architecture, development and support leveraging high availability technologies such as load balancing, clustering, SQL Always on, or cloud Experience deploying applications through Citrix a plus Ability to grasp new technology concepts quickly and assist others in understanding them as well Knowledge of coding and scripting languages such as C# or Powershell Extensive knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, including registry, policy and file management Database structure knowledge and standards, ETL, and file transfer knowledge Excellent presentation skills Excellent communication, organizational and documentation skills ADDITIONAL ABILITIES REQUIRED The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Manage team members to ensure they are progressing in their career path through technical, personal, and managerial feedback [positive and corrective] in the coaching to reports.
Provide technical, personal, and managerial feedback [positive and corrective] in the coaching to direct reports.
Works as member of the Enterprise Applications Department Management team. In this capacity is responsible for reporting team metrics, project status, creation of work plans, task assignment, incident queue management, vacation calendars, as well as on-call rotations.
Acts as "owner" of the applications/software/code/workflow/solutions by developing and recommending configuration options or coding best practices that adheres to industry security and best practices guidelines of assigned applications.
Have the ability to present ideas/projects/problems/solutions to medium size groups and run meetings when assigned.
Has functional and practicle understanding of existing and emerging technologies to produce the ability to enhance current configurations and operations, troubleshoot issues, determine root cause, and then resolve with little to no supervision or additional support.
Responsible for creating and reviewing engineers and developers design, engineering, and code to create stable and highly available solutions to enhance the Firms' business.
Assess the relative impact of emerging technologies to strategic operating needs of the Firm.
Participate and manage requirements gathering process – collect, review, analyze, evaluate, estimate, prioritize and document business requirements for supported initiatives and enterprise/team projects
Experience and skills required
7+ years’ experience in overall IT (either applications, systems or development) working with wide range of application/server technologies and/or coding languages. Such as PowerShell, SQL, Angular, Model View View Model (MVVM) framework, Nework Load Balancing, API Intergrations, Dual Factor Authenication, Power Apps/Power Platform, Office 365, Power BI, and/or other cloud technologies
Microsoft SCCM experience a plus
Be a model of the Enterprise Applications Team philosophy, advocating enterprise processes, procedures, standards and knowledge first support.
Must be available to serve in an on-call rotation
Directs and assists team members to write test scripts, provide QA and end user testing of critical business functions and applications.
Must be able to self-manage workload, project tasks, ticket queue, and track time.
Leads and participates in enterprise projects.
Acts as a project manager for team/self-managed projects.
Interface with business owners to drive customer use and satisfaction of applications/software/code/workflow/solutions.
Follow process, procedure, and policy as defined by the firm for the support of assigned applications/software/code/workflow/solutions.
Works closely with the Enterprise Applciaion Leadership group, Developers, Engineers, Security Personell, and Architects to make sure the the Software Development Life Cycle and the Applciation Implementation Life Cycle is aheared in each deployment.

Compensation Salary $119,500 - $179,000 / year
