The Marketing Communications Assistant is an entry-level, firmwide role that provides support to the Brand Marketing and Communications team on a broad spectrum of marketing functions. Compensation Salary $48,000 - $82,000 The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Director of Brand Marketing and Communications; Associate Director of Marketing Technology; Associate Director of PR and Media; Senior Manager, Marketing Communications; Marketing Communications Specialists; Marketing Communications Coordinators; and members of the Market Development and Client Engagement teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Website maintenance. Responsible for updating/publishing content on the firm’s website and associated foreign language microsites.
• Oversee the workflow process to have thought leadership reviewed, approved, and published on the firm website.
• Produce electronic communications for distribution to external mailing lists.
• Submit content to syndicated content vendors for publication on their platforms.
• Support rankings and directories tasks associated with Chambers, Legal 500, and Best Law Firms as needed.
• Maintain the content tracker database and prepare monthly reports for distribution.
• Assist the PR and Media team with the production of the daily media report.
• Prepare analytic reports as needed representing syndicated content, blogs, website web pages, CLE On-Demand Center, etc.
• Support the firm’s marketing technology systems, which include our client relationship management system (CRM), CLE on-demand center, and experience and proposal center.
• Help manage the firm’s external distribution mailing lists which are utilized to push thought leadership into the marketplace.
• Provide administrative support for other marketing communications projects as needed.
EXPERIENCE SKILLS REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or other related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with changing deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of AP style is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and contribute toward team projects.
• Proficient with MS Office software products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of HTML and the Internet is a plus.
• Experience with InDesign and Photoshop is a plus.

• Communicate and interact effectively with lawyers and allied professionals across the firm.
• Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
• Effectively manage and communicate confidential issues.
