We are seeking a Project Manager to join the Pittsburgh office. The candidate will be responsible for managing large Enterprise Reporting projects.  This includes developing and maintaining project timelines, issue logs, test plans and required documentation. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service are strongly preferred.

Key relationships
Enterprise Reporting Report Writers, Enterprise Reporting BI Developers, Financial Systems, Information Technology, outside vendors and service providers

Key duties include but are not limited to
• Lead projects to deliver process improvement capabilities.  Defines objectives, deliverables, schedule and resources requirements
• Document functional requirements, analyzes gaps, and identifies alternative approaches to meet requirements.
• Collaborate closely with business owners to ensure enhancements meet expectations
• Track project status, scope, risks, issues, and action items
• Lead the planning and execution of system testing and user acceptance
• Facilitate requirements and design meetings with stakeholders
• Provides guidance and direction to team members: troubleshooting, addressing and escalating issues.
• Identifies and communicates downstream impacts of system changes
• Coordinates with internal customers and external vendors/service providers for outside services if necessary.

Experience and skills required
• Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning
• Project Management Professional certification preferred
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development.
• Proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, SQL Server Analysis Services and SQL Server Management Studio
• Minimum of three years of management experience in the IT field.
• Experience in the legal industry is a plus
• Excellent analytical / problem solving skills
• Must possess the ability to handle complex work and multi-task
• Diplomacy and the ability to get others to collaborate

Additional abilities required
• This job typically operates in an office setting and is largely sedentary, requiring the routine use of a computer and other standard office equipment.
• May be required to work outside of standard office hours in order to meet deadlines
