We are seeking a Manager, Enterprise Applications to join the firm.  The Manager, Enterprise Applications is responsible for the overall management of the assigned teams and their associated initiatives. The Enterprise Applications Manager is responsible for overseeing teams of developers and engineers who will work to deliver the efficient integration of development and operations processes, ensuring seamless delivery of applications/SaaS/code/workflows solutions to our customers. Responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust DevOps culture and implementing best practices throughout the organization.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Global Information Technology Team, IT Leadership, Project Management Office, Quality Assurance Team (QA), and External Vendors

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Lead by example by promoting and creating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and diversity to foster teamwork to create amazing products and solutions for the Firm.
• Meeting with customers, stakeholders, and end users to be a guide to create visions for applications/SaaS/code/workflow solutions that transpire into projects.
• Manage team members to ensure they are progressing in their career path through technical, personal, and managerial feedback [positive and corrective] in the coaching to reports.
• Works closely with customers, business analysts, PMs, CSMs and team members to understand business requirements and use to drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
• Conducts design reviews to ensure feasibility related to production support, risk, costs and alignment to industry standards and best practices, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Reviews the development, testing and implementation plans, providing direction for highly complex projects. Oversees planning and recommendations of architectural changes based on new or changing business requirements or evolving technology.
• Acts as "owner" of the applications/SaaS/code/workflow solutions by developing and recommending policy and procedure that adheres to industry security and best practices guidelines of assigned applications.
• Present ideas/projects/problems/solutions to IT leadership and/or management groups when assigned.
• Remain current on existing and emerging technologies to produce the ability to enhance current offerings and operations of applications/SaaS/code/workflow solutions.
• Responsible for continual improvement of the code and application review process that delivers standards for developers and engineers follow to create stable and highly available solutions to enhance the Firms' business.
• Be a part of the departments Vendor Management program. Participate and manage the evaluation, selection, acquisition, retention, and implementation of tools utilized by the Development Support function. Partners with key vendors such as Microsoft and to ensure that the Firm is fully leveraging the investment in their tools.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES
• Be a model of the Enterprise Applications Team philosophy, advocating enterprise processes, procedures, standards, and knowledge first support.
• Must be available to serve as a manager on-duty rotation.
• Leads and participates in enterprise projects, at times acting as a project sponsor for team/self-managed projects as well as serving as a project manager when required.
• Interface with business owners to drive customer use and satisfaction of applications/software/code/workflow/solutions.
• Proactively and routinely meet with vendors to identify opportunities for training and development as well as maintain communication on future versions and strategic direction and how it relates to our environment. Make recommendations to IT Leadership to inform future IT strategic planning.
• Works as member of the Enterprise Applications Department Management team. In this capacity is responsible for reporting team metrics, project status, creation of work plans, task assignment, incident queue management, vacation calendars, as well as on-call rotations.
• Serve as a point of escalation for team leads and direct reports.
• Oversee the Enterprise Applications Teams adherence to and improvement of the DevOPS / Agile development and application lifecycles.

EXPERIENCE SKILLS REQUIRED
• B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to multi-task, lead and mentor engineers/developers, work under pressure, and handle interruptions while maintaining flexibility in work assignments.
• Aptitude to effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and interact with diverse personalities of technical and non-technical colleagues while maintaining a professional attitude.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• A minimum of 3+ years of relevant people supervision and experience leading a team of 4 or more persons.
• A minimum of 8+ years of demonstrated application support and administration, code development and support, related experience in an application architecture, product management/development, or project management capacity.
• Experience working as a project manager on medium and large scale (enterprise level) projects.
• Understanding of basic cloud computing concepts, cost models, and how to operate and enforce cloud adoption using best practices.
• Possess strong technical writing skills to produce documentation, training materials, and process and procedures for the applications supported by the team.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of proficiency with common office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio)
• Intermediate knowledge of KCS (Knowledge Center Support), support ticketing best practices, and customer first queue management methodologies.
• ITIL v3/4 Foundations, Microsoft, Azure/Cloud, or relevant application/solution/management certifications.
• Proven success implementing quality control processes with proven record of reducing development time, production issues and maintenance issues.
• Have familiarity with industry-standard enterprise applications / solutions, such as Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Power Platform / Power Apps, iManage, intAPP, Smartsheet, or other Legal centric software solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with knowledge of DevOps principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, containerization, automation).

ADDITIONAL ABILITIES REQUIRED
• Ability to work, meet, and communicate with a resources/team members that reside in different offices and/or time zones.
• Must be able to self-manage workload, project tasks, ticket queue, and track time.
• Have flexibility with prior notice to attend meetings, work with vendors, preform system upgrade and go-live events outside of normal working hours.
• Possesses the expertise to draw, sketch, write, and use collaborative productivity tools to share and view ideas with diverse resources in a hybrid work environment.
• Capabilities to handle frequent computer, telephone, email, messaging applications (MS Teams), and video call use at workstation up to eight hours at a time.
• Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
• Means to perform job functions in an office setting or suitable remote working (virtual work) location.
• Capability to travel upon request (up to 10%) to other offices, vendor sites or to conferences/seminars.
• Manual dexterity required for typing, reaching, and lifting of small objects, and operating office equipment.
• Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.

Compensation Salary $128,000 - $249,000

The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
