The Legal Recruiting Assistant is responsible for administrative assistance to the Legal Recruiting Manager and the Hiring Committee in the recruitment and hiring of law school students for summer associate positions, law school graduates for associate positions, and lateral lawyers joining the firm. Compensation Salary $54,000 - $ 94,000 / year The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The position also assists in the organization and administration of the summer associate program and first year associate orientation and onboarding. In addition, this position assists in compilation of statistical information and performing other duties and projects supporting the Director of Legal Recruiting and the Firmwide Legal Recruiting team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
EXPERIENCE SKILLS REQUIRED
• 2-3 years of previous administrative experience with relevant duties, previous law firm recruiting experience desired
• High school diploma or General Education Degree required; college degree preferred
• Accustomed to working as a team member
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess excellent organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize/handle multiple time-sensitive job assignments
• Demonstrated ability to meet obligations with confidentiality, integrity and sensitivity
• Ability to be diplomatic and get along with lawyers and other Allied Professionals
• Ability to project a positive image to the legal community, law schools and potential applicants
• PC proficient with experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with applicant data tracking system preferred
ADDITIONAL ABILITIES REQUIRED
• Demanding, faced paced work environment with a high volume of administrative duties
• Generally includes combination of sedentary, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, etc.
• Daily use of a personal computer and telephone
• Position frequently requires overtime and may require occasional flextime
