We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Digital Workplace Engineer to join our team. The role holds support for managing services that directly impact users’ experiences and engagement, focusing on optimizing technology adoptions, usability, and overall satisfaction with IT endpoint services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our digital workplace infrastructure to enhance productivity and collaboration across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of modern workplace technologies, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement. This role bridges the gap between IT operations and user needs by ensuring that technology solutions are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Develop and implement digital workplace solutions that enhance user experience and streamline operations. This includes, but is not limited to, collaboration tools, digital workplace, communication platforms, and cloud services. Responsibility for proposing, developing, and implementing visions for a reimagined user experience; of leading or accommodating related changes in the long - and short term; and of understanding and communicating to internal audiences of how advancements in user experience yield advantages to the Firm.
- Customer Support: The individual in this position must be a collaborator who is able to focus the efforts of diverse interest groups to enable the Firm’s technical goals. You will be a key player in leveraging innovative technologies such as Co-Pilot and other innovative endpoint tools. Leverage design thinking technologies and ability to conduct business sessions with internal Firm customers to understand their true needs and challenges. This role ensures that our M365 offerings align with customer needs and operational goals.
- System Management: Oversee the day-to-day management, configuration, and optimization of endpoint systems. Ensure systems are operating efficiently and securely. Perform system updates, configurations, and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of endpoint infrastructure.
- Technical Support: Manage escalated technical issues from Tier 1 and Tier support. Serve as a point of escalation for complex technical issues. Automate requests, builds, and provisioning processes to streamline Windows environment management. Drive operational support enhancements, improve request handling, and support processes for Windows environment. Collaborate with team members on the technical design and architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performing M365 solutions.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect digital workplace systems, endpoint systems, and data. Ensure compliance with relevant local regulations and industry standards.
- Reporting: Develop, manage, measure, and report on key metrics and KPI’s. Ensure knowledge-based articles are created and up to date. Anticipates customer needs and issues through data gathering.
- Communication: Ability to communicate in a way technical and non-technical employees can understand. Includes explaining how modern technologies can be leveraged and what benefits can be expected. Acts as an evangelist for innovation and modern technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and deliver effective endpoint solutions. Facilitate the creation, prioritization, planning, and execution of business capability and technical roadmaps in AI and endpoint solutions. Strength in driving for business outcomes and results. Strong customer service mindset and knows the meaning of service excellence.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in digital workplace and M365 developments. Identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance the digital workplace experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology, with background in desktop and end user endpoint engineering or a similar role.
- Proficient in automated workstation build methodologies, software packaging, and deployment systems.
- Experience supporting multi-OS platforms (Windows, Mobile, Citrix, Virtual Machines).
- Experience with automation and scripting languages.
- Strong knowledge of modern workplace technologies, including Office M365, Intune, Autopilot, Mobile Device Management, Citrix, VMWare, Virtual Desktops, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Co-Pilot, Digital Employee Tools, and other artificial intelligence tools.
- Experience with Azure cloud platform.
- Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and people skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications:
- Microsoft or M365 certifications.
- Experience with Power Platform technology (Power BI, Microsoft Graph).
- Experience with Microsoft’s Generative AI compendium of tools (Copilot, Custom Copilot, CoPilot Studio).
Compensation Salary $108,000 - $202,000
The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
